SageWest Health Care recognized as one of the top 20
performing inpatient psychiatric facilities
Fremont County, Wyo. –The PineRidge inpatient behavioral health unit has been recently recognized as one of the 20 top performing inpatient psychiatric facilities in the United States from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, CMS, is part of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
The top 20 facilities selected were based on standard behavioral health criteria: alcohol screening and interventions, hours of restraint and seclusion use, patients discharged on multiple antipsychotics with appropriate justification, and use of electronic medical record.
“This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team and our community partners who have been working collaboratively,” said Alan Daugherty, SageWest Health Care CEO. “SageWest’s top priority is to provide safe and top quality healthcare close to home, and this recognition demonstrates one of the many ways we continually work to enhance and improve our service.”
