SageWest Patient Success: Kay Armstrong

 “SageWest helped me so much. I came in with pneumonia and I have had the best care I have ever had in a hospital. The nurses, doctors, aides, and physical therapists have all been so wonderful in helping me. One morning, I heard them sing Happy Birthday to one of the other nurses and I just sat in my room and smiled.

“I have had so much excellent care and the team went above and beyond. I was getting cleaned up and Heather with physical therapy noticed I was not able to take care of my feet. She helped me trim my toes and put lotion on my feet. She didn’t have to do that but went above and beyond.

“The food has also been excellent and they come in to make sure I like everything. Dr. Scheer and Dr. Garnett had an orthopedic doctor come in to look at my shoulder for arthritis and he injected my shoulder for the pain I was having. There were so many incidences that have been so special. Lynn was one of my nurses and she really took her time to make me feel cared for. I can’t say how much I have enjoyed my visit here. Life is serious, but we have to remember to smile!” – Kay Armstrong
