At SageWest Riverton, our outpatient infusion service provides patients with intravenous (IV) treatments – such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, antibiotics, or hydration – without the need for an overnight hospital stay. These services are delivered to you in a comfortable, clinic-like setting within our hospital. The SageWest specially trained nurses and medical staff monitor patients during and after their infusions. Patients are scheduled for appointments, receive their treatments under the supervision of a physician, and can return home the same day. This service is commonly used for patients with cancer, chronic illnesses, or infections that require regular IV medication in a safe and controlled environment.
