SageWest Medical Group Welcomes Virginia Sargent, FNP, to Wind River Clinic in Riverton
Family Medicine Provider Now Accepting New Patients of All Ages
Fremont County, Wyo. (July 23, 2026) – SageWest Medical Group is pleased to welcome Virginia Sargent, FNP, to the Wind River Clinic in Riverton, where she provides family medicine services for patients of all ages.
With a passion for rural healthcare and a commitment to building lasting relationships, Sargent believes great care starts with truly knowing her patients and the communities they call home.
“The best part of family practice is the human connection,” said Sargent. “It’s important to have a provider who knows you and understands your life, not just your medical chart.”
Sargent earned her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner Studies from Mount Marty University and brings experience in family practice, urgent care and emergency medicine. Her years caring for patients in rural communities have strengthened her belief that accessible, personalized care can make a meaningful difference.
“We’re excited to welcome Virginia to our team,” said Kati Anderson, Director of Practice Management for SageWest Medical Group. “Her compassionate approach and dedication to rural healthcare make her a great fit for our patients and community.”
Sargent provides preventive care, wellness exams, chronic disease management, treatment for acute illnesses, adolescent healthcare and primary care services for children, adults and seniors.
When she’s not caring for patients, Sargent enjoys hiking, fishing, camping, gardening, bird watching, reading and cooking. She and her husband have three children and three dogs and enjoy spending time outdoors together as a family.
