SageWest Health Care welcomed its first baby of 2026 born on January 1. Emma and Andrew Matthews welcomed their baby girl, Eileen.

“There’s no better way for our team to welcome the New Year than with special deliveries that bring precious new life into the world,” said Amanda Vick, chief executive officer at SageWest Health Care. “We thank Emma and Andrew and all the moms and dads for trusting us to be part of these exciting moments as their families grow.”

“We are so grateful for the caring, supportive hospital staff and providers who made our experience so special,” said Emma Matthews of her experience delivering at SageWest.

“Caring for the Matthews family throughout their pregnancy was such a privilege. Emma and Andrew are such great people; we feel so lucky to be a part of the growth of their family. This truly is the best part of our jobs,” said Ali Weiss, MD, Family Medicine and Obstetrics at SageWest Health Care and Wind River Family Medicine and OB/GYN.

In 2025, SageWest delivered more than 230 babies. From prenatal care, birthing, to post-pregnancy health, SageWest provides a personalized healthcare experience.
