Dr. Ali Weiss joins SageWest Health Care

SageWest Health Care is pleased to announce Ali Weiss, M.D., has joined its staff and will be offering women’s health services effective October 1 at the Wind River Clinic in Lander and Riverton.

“We are excited to welcome Dr. Weiss to Fremont County,” said John Whiteside, CEO of SageWest Health Care. “Access to primary care and women's health services is crucial for fostering overall health, and Dr. Weiss will provide essential care that our communities need.”

Dr. Weiss completed her obstetrics fellowship at Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. and family medicine residency at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital in Rapid City, S.D. She earned her medical degree at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine in Vermillion, S.D. Dr. Weiss is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Coming from a large family, I approach my patients with the same compassion and advice I would offer my own loved ones, prioritizing their health and well-being.”

Dr. Weiss’ practice emphasizes holistic care for individuals of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics, with a particular focus on maternal and infant health throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery. She is skilled in both vaginal and cesarean deliveries, family planning, annual screenings, preventative care, newborn nursery care, and basic dermatologic skin health.

Believing that emotional health is a vital component of overall wellness, Dr. Weiss strives to connect with her patients beyond their physical health, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care. She looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients and providing exceptional care tailored to their unique needs.

In her personal life, Dr. Weiss enjoys international travel, exploring beautiful landscapes and culinary delights. She has a passion for keeping houseplants alive, reading novels, vintage shopping, and visiting farmer's markets.
